Who we are
We are parents and educators of homeschool students with years of experience who offer alternatives to public education via live online courses or one-on-one tutoring.
Jessica Stephens
I am an educator who has taught History, Literature, and other subjects such as The Space Race in homeschool co-op classes for over six years. I am fluent in reading, writing, and speaking French and have tutored students who wish to learn from the beginning or need to brush up on their fluency.
Jennifer Capone
I began my teaching journey in early childhood education, where I discovered the joy of nurturing curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Over time, I found myself drawn to teaching older students, where history, literature, and meaningful discussions could come alive.
Today, my favorite place to teach is middle and high school. I love transforming history from a list of dates into unforgettable stories filled with remarkable people, impossible choices, courage, and resilience. Whether we are exploring the American Revolution, the women of World War 2, or classic literature, my goal is to help students connect with the past in a way that feels real, relevant, and exciting.
Nothing compares to those "aha" moments when a student suddenly understands not just what happened, but why it mattered. I believe education should inspire curiosity, encourage thoughtful questions, and help young people become confident, compassionate, and lifelong learners.
Franko Stephens
I have written homeschool courses in Literature and History subjects such as the life and death of Edgar Allen Poe and creative writing. I had several short stories published and my novels can be found on Amazon Kindle. I have an Associate of Arts degree in General Education as well as several certificates in business writing and leadership.
